THIS WEEK IN SPENCER...
7/3/15: EVENT UPDATE!!!  Due to the likelihood of rain today, the Concert in the Park series (featuring Wyatt Turner) will be INSIDE THE COMMITTEE ON AGING BUILDING AT 7PM TONIGHT.  We already have the stage and seating set up, so we are ready to accommodate our concert goers on this rainy day!  We hope to see you there!!!

FREE Concert in the Park on July 3rd!

JULY 3RD AT 7:00 PM

This Friday, the City of Spencer presents its annual CONCERT IN THE PARK series!  The featured artist this year is West Virginia's own WYATT TURNER.  This is a FREE EVENT!  Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, and blankets and come down to WASHINGTON PARK in Spencer!  The stage will be set up on the tennis courts facing the park to maximize your viewing pleasure.

Roane County Local Emergency Planning Committee

The Roane County Local Emergency Planning Committee (RCLEPC) is looking for individuals to participate as representatives in a variety of categories ranging from: State and Local Officials; Emergency Medical Services; Media; Emergency Management; Facility Owner/Operator; Law Enforcement; Health; Hospital; Environmental Group; Community Group; Firefighters; and Transportation Personnel.  The RCLEPC meets six (6) times per year, typically every odd month at 11:30 a.m. on the fourth (4th) Wednesday of the month.  The meetings begin promptly and last no more than two (2) hours unless a special presentation is scheduled.
